Your Lake Elsinore Chiropractor
Dr. William Haneline, DC, DABCO
Practicing since 1975
Experience you can depend on
EDUCATION: BS Mechanical Engineering (1968), US Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point NY. BS Human Biology (1974) and Doctor of Chiropractic (1975) National University of Health Sciences, Lombard IL. Post Graduate Chiropractic Orthopedics, Southern California University of Health Sciences, Whittier CA; Diplomate American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists (1987).
PAST PRACTICES: Oregon, Hawaii, California and Indonesia.
TECHNIQUES: Over the years I have spent literally hundreds of hours studying, and thousands of hours applying, different techniques; in the past several years I have blended this knowledge into an analysis and adjusting style that is unique to me. Each adjustment, at each visit, is custom tailored to the individual needs of that patient, at the time of that visit. Depending upon the age and overall health condition of the patient (and, very importantly, patient preference) the actual adjustment may include the typical chiropractic adjusting techniques, extremely low force "functional" techniques or light force instrument adjusting and a highly effective technique known as "neurocranial integration".
NUTRITION: I also offer dietary advice and employ laboratory testing for analysis of micro-nutrient deficiencies. Quite often changes in diet alone can produce astounding results, but for someone who has suffered ill health over an extended period of time, dietary change by itself may not be sufficient. In these cases supplements are needed to restore longstanding nutrient inadequacy. Laboratory analysis of the body tissues, including the blood, can eliminate a lot of the guesswork in selecting supplements that can actually restore an individual's blood chemistry balance and health.
MY PROMISE TO YOU
I promise you that I will do my very best to bring about the best results in the shortest amount of time. Whenever I treat someone I always ask myself, "If I were that person how would I want to be treated?" I put very high expectations on getting results. Just as a golfer or tennis player is always working to improve their game, I am always working on upgrading and improving my doctoring skills. If I can help I'll say so; and, if I can't help I'll try to find someone who can. And, I'll never pressure you to get care you don't feel you need.
SPECIAL AREAS OF INTEREST AND EXPERTISE
I have handled all kinds of conditions but I have particular expertise in the following areas:
1. Neck, shoulder, arm and hand syndromes (with or without headache). Over the years I have developed skill in analyzing and correcting the subluxations (joint dysfunctions) in this area that prevent healing from occurring. Quite often there are subluxations in the wrist that need to be attended before full function of the shoulder can return, as an example.
2. Knee pain. I have treated a lot of cases of "knee pain" that are actually a hip and ankle problem. The knee gets caught in the middle and overloaded with the mechanical stresses the ankle and hip joints are not dealing with. And, believe it or not, a person's diet can have a profound effect on the knee joints.
I think the reason I do well in these areas is I don't approach these conditions as "isolated entities" separate from the rest of the body.
I'm not limited to just neck and knee problems; I also get good results with most back pain conditions, but I seem to have particular interest and unusually good results with those two.
